March madness has simply seized my life and ran away with it. After this very exhausting and never-ending week, I am happy to say it's officially spring break{Que the "Hallelujahs"}. I feel like I am an inconsistent wreck at this whole blogging thing. Please forgive me.
The day was a bit gloomy outside. I stayed inside with the window open so the breeze could blow in the sweet fragrance. I sat in my room packing for my trip, in which I got distracted by my camera{typical me}. I still have to finish packing, and we leave in almost ten hours. I ate one too many sweets than needed, including cotton candy. While eating my cotton candy outside, a bug flew into it. Yum? I was on Pinterest a little too long.

Trees that blossomed.
Dewy mornings.
Amazing finds while on adventures with my dad.
I don't want my blog to be about the seemingly perfect things. Which I feel like I too often post about to you. I don't want this blog to be a place, where you come and get jealous of the "perfect" moments that I often write about. I read those kinds of blogs. You get tired of it.
I want to write about my moments, but I don't want to just point out the lovelies. I want to write about how I do have flaws, and I do have real emotions. I do mess up and I am imperfect. I do have daily trials I face, and my life isn't just full of wonderful "perfect" moments.
My life is imperfect, and so am I. But I have a perfect Lord who cleans up my mess.

P.S. My big brother got married today. :))

Oh, the lovely things are always nice to read about (and very inspiring), but the awful things, the dreadful things, the "oh, horrors, embarrassment!" things, I have to say, are the most interesting. ;)
ReplyDeleteSo, feel free to spill the delightfully horrible things. :)
Anyways, I love the pictures, especially the one with the grass. That is so beautiful. You are prodigiously talented at taking pictures (haha, gotta love those big words, it seems like something Anne Shirley would say).
Love,
Rebekah

congrats to your brother! ♥
ReplyDeleteI love your blog because you show that your life isn't perfect, I mean nobody's is, but you don't try to hide it. "Perfectly Imperfect" is my "motto" my life isn't perfect, but it is perfectly imperfect.
Those pictures might not be perfect in someone else's eyes, but to me, they are perfect! I love simplicity and photos that tell a story.
