 .       Mid-winter, I am cozy on the couch inside. After eating two egg souffles, I am quite pleased. Sipping a cup of tea, which is rather rejuvenating. I sit looking out the window, and seeing in the distant black dots wandering around as if lost.  This is a place to let my mind roam free. The heater buzzes on, interrupting the silence. I am surrounded by the people, whom I love sincerely. It’s the place where I feel most secure. The aroma of freshly baked coffee cake is filling the room.  Reflecting on what has been, what is going on, and what there may be. Finding myself blessed and wanting nothing more. There is something quite satisfying to the soul. I guess what you could say is I am lost in the moment.

I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, in plenty or in want.

  8. I love, love, really love, your writing, and your pictures. Is everyone trying to through me in this imaginative coma, with all there lovely, whimsical posts. The pictures are truly darling and I do really love scarves. It is really a pity I live in Hawaii and if I wore a scarf people would probably think I'm trying to hard. ;)

  11. It is quite true.. mid winter is such a lovely and relaxing time of year that seems to be made for quiet, warming drinks, and sweaters. It's soothing really.
