Blank Page

Today I started off by watching the charcoal sky turn into the florescent colors of orange and pink. The reading of my Bible took place on my couch, with only the sound of the heaters buzzing. The house was painted with darker colors, because the sun failed to come out. I finished a rather wonderful book, and now I'm ready to start a new one. I read a post that inspired me so very much. My school was done with about an hour to spare of free time remaining.

As I sat down to write something; the blank page lay bare in front of me, and just sitting there became quite overwhelming. Though I had ideas, and some thoughts filled my mind, I just couldn’t seem to get the right words onto that page.  As I typed a few sentences, I found myself erasing them faster than I had put them on there. I took a few moments away from the page, to sip a cup of tea and look at my inspirational notebook. The page that was empty only a few moments ago, became a page of words and thoughts.

The Lord is working in my life daily. Each day I learn something new about Him or one of  His many wonders. Today I learned  that though you may not be the best at something, it doesn't mean you shouldn't work your hardest. You are working as unto the Lord.

How was your day?

  8. Yes there is that wonderful verse about "work as though you are working for the Lord, not man"

you are such a faithful daughter and you are so after God's heart, so I can see how busy He must be working in your life/heart!

  9. those pictures are beautiful!

and what you learned today? so true. i usually give up when i don't like what i've done or it isn't good yet. and that's not using the gifts i've been given wisely. to grow and nurture and better myself. and then use them to praise Him. well said. =]
