Traveling by Sea:part one

    I really only traveled by sea for an hour to get to Catalina Island ( also known by me as the most beautiful place ever)but I felt like I was transported to a whole new world. The ferry ride to the island was the most magical thing. I found my way to the top of the boat,which was outside. This is also the place where the wind throws your hair everywhere, and you are chilled to the bone. It was quite funny,as we left the dock the seats were full on the top of the boat--and suddenly ten minutes later everybody darts inside. Me? No, I was determined to get the outside view and freeze to death if need be. While my hair hit me in my face and my body shivered frantically, I gazed at the beauty that surrounded me. It was so worth it. 

    The waves of the ocean rolled under the boat in a most fragile way. I could smell the salty water. My eyes got lost in the thousands of miles of water.The sun shone on the water, making it glitter. The destination is only a silhouette in the distance. The closer you draw to it, the more the beautiful details are seen.

I have traveled in many ways, but traveling by sea is by far my favorite.
