My definition of Beauty
I Agree with the Lords definition.
Beauty is on the inside.
Beauty is a girl who loves, serves and fears the Lord.

ReplyDeletethis was kind of beast, you know? like every one of your posts are, only squared. i love that verse so much. beautiful post. the world doesn't know the true meaning of beauty, and sometimes i just want to hit them, you know? i'm so tired of all their "explanations of beauty". not meaning to point anyone out, kim kardashian, but we are the genuine ones over here. barbie dolls aren't cool.

Beauty, to me, has got to be a good personality. There are Bible verses, like the one you just shared, to back it up. A woman who loves the Lord with all her heart will have a pleasant countenance, and people will enjoy her company. Likewise, a woman with a bad attitude will be 'ugly' to others, no matter how pretty her face is. Great post!

ReplyDeleteI literally had a talk, using that same verse, with a friend just yesterday! God works in wonderful ways :)) Proverbs 31:30 is one of my many favorite verses in the bible. I actually put it on the cover of my notebok so I'd see it all the time :)

ReplyDeleteBeauty to me is unexpected. It is in all things that might appear ugly, inside and out. There is beauty in everything AND everyONE. We live in such a fallen world b/c of what happened in the Garden, but God can bring SUCH beauty out of evil and ugly. He makes all things new and beautiful. He takes ashes and we trade them for beauty.
Creation is beauty. The CROSS is beauty. Gosh I could go on, haha
