Hello There, Lovelies!
The other day, my dad took me to the old farmstead, and it was absolutely beautiful. Knowing me, I took tons of pictures....
It has been abandoned there to slowly fade and crumble. When summer comes, the green vines will over grow the house. Wild life has taken it, and made it their new home. The driveway is lost in the tall grass. Its once beautiful, white glow has turned into a dull brown\green, making it blend in with the trees. Nobody cares for it anymore. People were once living here. People who could have been running around, dreaming about adventures, learning about the Lord, having daily struggles, wondering what the future held for them. There is a desk sitting on {what is left of} the top floor}. I can only imagine that it is holding clues to what their lives would have been like. Forgotten, it sits there day-by-day, awaiting to be restored. It holds memories of sorts. Its a clue to what the past was like. One day, when I am old and frail I will venture back to that house, and see what is left of it. I won't forget you. Please don't die too soon. It was nice meeting you. Bye for now.
Love,
Cindi
